How can I make my wall private for friends only?

I thought I had the privacy settings done. BUT when I logged on to sister's facebook and checked mine out------ ( we are not facebook friends BTW) it showed my wall was public to people. How to make the wall posts 'friends only'?

You can do so by following these steps:

•Login to your account.
•Click the drop down arrow at the top right corner to the right of ‘Home’.
•Under ‘Control Your Default Privacy’, click the ‘Friends’ radio button.
