Question about Twitter?
I'm don't know much about all this online "social networking" but one evening I registered at Facebook, MySpace, Classmates & Twitter. The first three sites were pretty easy to navigate and understand but I never made it very far on Twitter. And now I get all these emails notifying me that people who I've never heard of in my life are "following me" on Twitter. I guess II would like to understand why people would want to "follow" someone they've never even heard of and and I would also like to know why a person would even want to "follow" someone who doesn't even tweet? What's to follow then?

Never follow those people who are inactive there are many online tools available. Easy way to increase followers in twitter is to just follow other people, 60-70% will follow you back.

Slowly and slowly your network will increase and if you have 1000 followers and put some tweet in that out of 1000 if 1 is following your tweet than it will again move to 1000s more.

So tweet should be like that that every person should follow it and it must be eve catching
Ex 10 things you never heard about, 1o worst things ,5 best things.

Welcome to the Internet and Social Sites of the World!

Log into Twitter. Click the "Settings" button at the top. READ CAREFULLY EACH OPTION! Check the option "Protect my tweets" !!!!!!!!!!

Now, go back to your "Home," and click the link below "Followers." DELETE anyone you don't want following you!

Next, a warning - NEVER put ANYTHING you wouldn't put on a sign in downtown [Big City Name Goes Here] ANYWHERE on the Internet! That includes real name, BIRTH DATE, address, email address (get an email account at Yahoo, Gmail, etc used JUST for social sites and web forums), etc. Why???

Woman gets FIRED because of a tweet on Twitter she sent while NOT at work:

The Library of Congress bought the entire public Twitter archives, allowing ANYONE to search EVERYTHING ever sent out on Twitter:

Facebook gives away YOUR personal information to "partner" sites, and YOU CAN'T STOP THEM (easily):
Privacy advocates not happy AT ALL:

Facebook is now allowing certain websites to add applications WITHOUT you knowing:

Your personal info could be sold to anyone willing to pay a hacker who stole it - personal info can be used to hack into other sites you visit, like your bank for example:

Yo! New software that allows your boss/company to see if you're not being nice:

Got any new friends? Are they FBI agents?

Remember: any personal information can be used by hackers to help get into things like your online bank, online stock broker, etc. BE CAREFUL! And I repeat, do NOT put information on the Internet you wouldn't put on a sign in the middle of a big city. That includes "private chats" because, well, sometimes stuff happens:

Enjoy the Internet! It's a FUN place!!!

Oh, LOOK: @marquetti on Twitter says they are "In front of the club, about to go in!" That means @marquetti isn't going to be home for a while... let's go rob them - i LOVE their 60" Plasma tv!!!
