I want to find my Dad,i don't really know how to start.I have his birth certificate and some pictures.?

I have tried calling the social work/samaritans but they wont help as i wasn't adopted.I have been through the phone book and im pretty sure i have spoken to my dad's brother but i didn't get any further. Anyone got any suggestions??

Go to your mom...she if anybody should know who you can talk to ....so that you could get your answers...but..yes...ask grandma...aunties..uncles cousins...everyone you know on his side of the family..and you might want to ask your moms sisters or brothers..never know what they know too...good luck on your search!

My biological dad found me thru Myspace a couple months ago believe it or not. Try that and facebook.

Just something to keep in mind, your dad might not be the person you think he is, you probably want to get to know him but at what expense of your family? Will you have a step-dad that raised you that would be hurt by this? (this is my case) My bio. dad has not paid child support at all and owes my mom something like $30k in back support, I have been e-mailing him for awhile now to find out he has not worked for years and lives off of his wife (who is 20 years younger by the way then him) so he doesn't have to pay child support. It made me disappointed in him in more ways then one.
