Whats the difference between facebook and twitter... besides the color scheme?

Twitter is just like the News Feed of Facebook, but with only text. I personally don't like Twitter very much. People swear much more on Twitter and you will need to pick up on using hashtags and such. I find Facebook much more secure in terms of privacy than Twitter, but you might think otherwise if you try them both.
