What's the difference between Twitter and Myspace?
I'm more of a Livejournal person, and I pretty much recently learned what Myspace was for.

What's Twitter for? What's the difference?

I didn't ask which is "better",I mean what's the difference.

twitter is for very brief blogging about where you are and what you're doing...

myspace is a social group... visit each site, the difference is very plain

MySpace is more to keep in touch with friends, talk with people, meet new people, while twitter tends to be attractive to people that like to blog.
On twitter the basic premise is to send out short "tweets" that are like little updates sent out to everyone on your friends list, i.e. "just got done shopping, now I'm gonna go workout!!"
MySpace and Facebook along with others have a similar "update" feature where you can do the exact same thing, except unlike twitter, you can send a private message, add comments to friends' profiles and add different applications.
With MySpace, your profile is almost completely customizable, allowing you to hide things, have spiffy flash animation, the works.
And lastly, you will probably be hard pressed to find lots of people you actually know that use twitter. While it is becoming a national sensation, there are still much more people using MySpace or facebook. twitter is much more popular with celebrities than with the general public.

Wow, that was really long lol sorry
