how come my picture posting on twitter won't work?

i just joined twitter but its saying that everytime i try to post a picture it says there is a problem, probablly because its too big. but i have shrunk it a million times and still it won't work. what am i doing wrong? and what can i do to fix it and post the picture? Please help! thanks in advance.

Twitter image servers are always overloaded. Try it again at night, like 3am. Most people will be asleep at that time so you will have a chance.

Are you using TwitPic? YOU CAN'T POST PHOTOS ON TWITTER!! Type TwitPic on Google, and log in. After this, you should be able to upload as many photos as you like on the TwitPic website.

btw, it's linked to your Twitter account as well.
