If so, for what? People posting on the wall? New people liking the page? And how/where do they appear?

Just curious!

Facebook does not notify administrators when fans comment, or post to the page's wall.

That said, this app will email you when people post to your wall, or comment on wall posts, videos, links, photos and albums.
