Facebook: how can I decline an invitation to an event I am hosting?
Every week I organize a sports event in Facebook for a closed group of friends. Sometimes I can attend and sometimes not, but I can't find the [Decline] option any more if I am the host.
Until recently I was able to do so. I created a new event, invited my friends and had the chance to change my state from "Attending" to "Declined" or "Maybe" as many times as I wished. It seems as if something has changed in FB and I can't find the way make it work.

I don't think its possible, generally if your hosting something you will be there so its just not a situation the site has setup.

Declining as a host is no longer an option. This is a weakness for the reason you pointed out.

You can add other hosts, but if you're the creator you still can't remove yourself.
