HELP! How can I stop my ex boyfriend from repeatedly hacking onto my Facebook?

My ex has a program on his computer that allows him to steal email and facebook passwords (obviously he wont tell me what it's called). He uses it to get on my account ALL the time. No matter what I try I can't stop him from accessing my account. Is there anything I can do to block whatever this program is?

my best advice is 1 of 3, go to the police, notify facebook and tell them who it is, get a better firewall or at least a more updated version.

Is he using packet sniffing software on his computer to intercept traffic on the network? That's illegal if he's doing it without the permission of the network's owner/administrator. If he's the owner/administrator of the network, I'd suggest not using that network to connect to Facebook, email, etc.

He probably sent you a remote keylogger through an email. You would have to just read his email and the remote keylogger will install itself. Don't accept any more emails from him.
Look for it
On the "run", type "msconfig". when the menu opens click the "startup" tab and look through the list of any suspicious item. Take the check mark off. Click apply and ok and reboot your computer.
You should run your spyware program. If you don't have one, spybot search and destroy is a good spyware remover.
If you don't find any suspicious file under the start up. Look under here:
Right click on the taskbar at the bottom (empty area). On the menu that opens click on "task manager". When the menu opens, click on "services" A list will appear. On the bottom right click on "services" tab. A list will load. Look over the list. Especially under "description". Most of the items listed you won't recognize but if you look under the "description" of each item you might find something. Disable it.

Tell the police. That'll get rid of the problem pretty quickly.

If not, maybe get a new computer? Maybe your computer is the problem. Don't accept any suspicious e-mails. Ask a computer specialist what to do. But the police is probably your best bet.
