It is common, both in a social and business sense. It is offensive. Sometimes a person may not realise that is what they are doing. There are no formulas or simple answers. Personally, I am perceptive, strong in spirit, and have no fear - so I laugh at bullies Unfortunately most targets are gullible or weak in some way (should I say meek?). People like that need a champion to help them

Nobody deserves to be a victim of bullying.. Bullies are cowards, they never pick on someone who is as strong and as tall as them and they don't have an even fight were one fights the other, they have followers or hangers-on... and they pick on shy people, they pick on someone who has a different sexual orientation.. if someone is lesbian or homosexual, if they wear glasses or something else.. and that's not fair because not a single person deserves to be a victim of a bully..

Bullying has taken on a really viscious form now.. Cyber bullying is also very destructive to teenagers and a lot of teenages have been bullied to their deaths and this needs to be stopped.. A victim of cyber bullying should never respond to a message they receive on Facebook or in their email.. they should show it to their mom or father .. then they should delete it and delete the bully... A bully wants the victim to respond so if that doesn't happen with cyber bullying, they will sooner or later give up... so never respond to a message from a cyber bully.. then they will stop eventually..

Verbal bullying one should try to ignore it and one should tell a teacher and one should tell ones parents.. .
the same goes for emotional bullying and physical bullying.. one needs to report that to the teacher and one should observe which classmates are just standing by and do nothing because if they don't go and get the teacher if they see someone getting visciously bullied then they are guilty of being bystanders and for doing nothing.. it should be a classmates business to fetch help from a teacher..
The parent should get in touch with the teacher.. .or go to the headmaster of the school with all the details.. what happened, who did the bullying, where did it happen, when did it happen.. and teachers and parents should work together. Parents should be observant and if there is a change in their childrens behaviour.. if the seem depressed or don't talk a lot they should ask them what's wrong.. because that could be a sign they are a victim of bullying...A teacher should watch out during break times.. One should always tell a parent and a teacher.. not suffer in silence because a lot of teenagers have been bullied so badly that they saw no way out but to take their own life.. this has to stop right now! We don't need anymore victims whether they are victims of physical, verbal, emotional or cyber b ullying.. the bullies are emotional cowards x

I was a victim of bullying myself but unlike those many really cruelly bullied teenagers who just could not take it anymore and so many have taken their own life and committed suicide, I was lucky because my ordeal just lasted 6 months.
Of course he was one head taller than me and about 20 lbs heavier and a classmate who never paid attention in class but as all bullies, he had his hangers-on who cheered him on, other than that they stood back. He pulled chairs away when I wanted to sit down, he threw dead mice at me, he said mean things to me and when you are a victim of bullying you are scared every day to go to school. You really have to force yourself to make the effort and I did not tell my parents... please - everybody who is a victim of bullying - tell your parents - tell the teachers, yes and make the teachers talk about bullying as a class subject...
One day after knitting classes, he came out of nowhere and approached me in a menacing stance and yelled horribly at me, when he reached me, I had a chain reaction, I had my knitting basket in my hand and hit him around the head with it and one of the knitting needles protruded slighly through my basket, that grazed his one cheek and made it bleed.
He was at first taken by surprise that I had faught back, then he said he would go to our teacher and tell her I had attacked him but when I saw him like that I felt he was pathetic and I lost my fear of him and I guess it showed in my response that I was a lot more assertive at last and I told him to go ahead, but that then I would tell the teacher what he had done to me for the past 6 months and that I would be the one who would be believed...

Then he started aplogizing to me and told me to please not tell the teacher, that this would never happen again and he asked me accept his apologies.
I accepted his apologies and he stopped then and there and as the leader of the pack left me alone, his hangers on did not come near me anymore either... I didn't bear a grudge and I hope he made his life into a success and turned it around for the better but it was my nightmare year. I was scared and because of the constant bullying this was the year I had the worst grades ever.. I don't want to be 13 years old again...that was my most horrible year..

Please everyone watch out for victims of bullying and tell a teacher if you see it happen, don't be a bystander because some bullying is a lot crueller than what I experienced and you can in the video below, how many teenagers could not handle it and took their own life... everyone should do their part to stop the bullying right now but standing up against it!!!

PS. If you ever watched ''Dancing with the Stars'' the professional dancer Maksim just recently told the public that as a boy when still living in Russia, he was bullied because he ''a boy'' wanted to become a dancer'' He got beaten by others but he made it a principle to not fight back, not because he was a coward but because his parents had always told him ''You can achieve anything you want to achieve in life'' so instead he continueed his dancing and now at age 30 he is a professional dancer, living in the USA and he teaches celebs to learn to dance and earns lots of money and is famous... When some of his former classmates see him now, they say.. ''wow, well done Maks'', he just laughs about it now, because he got the success he wanted and they struggle to earn their money in a boring job, whereas he does what he loves and gets paid for it..
