My friend is pressuring me into getting a facebook account?

I know someone who got bullied via Facebook
I have twitter and skype but my parents don't want me too get Facebook
What should I do?

Don't get a facebook account. Facebook sells everything you write and does not protect your privacy well. Not to mention facebook will destroy your social life and cause drama. Don't listen to your friend stick to twitter it's much better and safer in the long run.
