What do you think about a 50 year old man dating a 24 year old woman?

My cousin is dating a 50 year old man. i'm confused because she seems to be ashamed of it. she hides it, only me my brother and my one of my cousins know about it. And she wont be around him at a party. she's not friends with him on facebook. she's trying hard to make sure know one knows about her dating him. but at the same time there having sex. i have no complete proof of the sex, but my other cousin did find birth control pills in the house, and she was the only woman living there.

Well my parents have that big an age difference actually, but I would never want to have such a big age difference between me and my girlfriend ever, that is kind of weird in reality, they both are at 2 completely different places in their life, and have nothing in common I would think. I can understand why she's ashamed, I don't see how well that relationship could ever work out

Family background could explain her shame in this. A possibility is that this "fling" will lead to dating, that will lead to marriage. The marriage will mostly be a waiting game for his death, and for her to get the inheritance.

This is really not a good situation but they're might not be anything that you can do as a cousin..The only best that you can do is to talk to her in regards to your concerns and maybe she'll consider. Hopefully,she will end the relationship with him because it's so damn awkward.
