What does it mean when someone puts "RT" in their Twitter post?
I know RT means Retweet, but why do people put it in their post? There is a Retweet button so it isn't people Retweeting things. Are they asking people to retweet that post?
Some examples from S.E. Cupp's Twitter: Aw, my legs miss it back. RT @ChuugARI @secupp U would get to 70,000 quicker if ya stopped by #RedEye the leg chair misses u! I'm excited to be there! See you in Charleston. RT @SRLC2012 @SRLC2012 is excited to have @secupp as speaker for the conference!!! Ads |
