What are some legal ways to raise money for my friends family that has no money?

I'm 14 years old . My friends parents are divorced , and they have two younger sons that are 12 , the dad left the mom and put the house up for fore-closer. They have no money what so ever and there next thing that will happen is they will live out in the streets . What are some legal ways to earn money for them? i really want to help.

She needs to talk to a divorce lawyer. Her husband must give her half of the property and child support.
You cannot raise much money. Have the mother call The Salvation Army, her church and soc. services. There are agencies that can help them. It is too much for a 14 year old girl.

Well, there are some social service agencies in most towns that may assist the family that the mother can inquire about,including food banks, clothing banks, salvation army, and local churches. Also, see if the family does not mind that you may try and fund raise for them....they may not want everyone to know what they are going through. If not then maybe organize a car wash or bake sale. Mom can check out Craigs list for a job openings, or apply at the County or City for a job because these jobs also have benefits (i.e.,medical and dental). These County or City jobs also have HOT LINES that she can call. Does mom or the children have a FACEBOOK or MYSPACE account that,with the mother's permission (Don't annouce this on your own without her permission) she can can announce her plight or needs to friends. Mom or the children can, if she permits it, make a video and download it to http://www.mytipglass.com. This website allows people to place a TIPGLASS over their videos. People can TIP her through PayPal if she has an account. These videos can also be placed on FACEBOOK and MYSPACE. What if all of the kids made a video that was informative or funny and promoted it in school with a TIPGLASS on it to help mom make money? Or they could promote it on FACEBOOK, Etc. Mom could also look for a part time job or have a garage sale. People could donate things to her to sell at the garage sale to help her out.
