How can I start talking to her again?

This girl and I crushed on each other in 5th grade. We had a little kid girlfriend boyfriend relationship, nothing serious at all. We went to different middle schools and never talked. But now we're in highschool and she's the most beautiful girl I've seen. I don't know if she even likes me, we still haven't talked but we're friends on Facebook. We see eachother in the hallways sometimes but we never make eye contact. We don't have any classes together this semester either. How can I start talking to her? And how can I not make it awkward?
