Does anyone use and like facebook?

I have found it seems people are in competition on there...whose out doing who.. and people bragging everyday about everywhere they have been or are going.
It's rather silly.

I'm very new to facebook and don't really understand it yet....LOL

So far I've "found" 3 friends from college I had lost contact with.....that part is good.

I only use it to get in touch with my old school mates. I don't go there often. I get emails when someone adds me as a friend or leaves a comment on my wall or sent me a message.
