How can I be closer to people?

I have friends, but lately I've been going through a hard time and I feel like I can't talk to any of them about it. None of them have said a word to me, even though I've posted on my Facebook, Twitter and IM what happened. How can I be closer to people so I actually have someone to talk to the next time I'm having a hard time?

Talk to them, hang out with them. And tell them how you have felt lately, it will bring mutual respect and understanding.
