How to lower privacy on XBOX 360? - 10 shiny points to best answer!?

So here's what's happening
1) Facebook/Twitter is blocked for "my age group" - so annoying
2) Every time I accept/send a friend request, I have to use my parent's e-mail address password.

How do I put my privacy down? Thanks!

you go on to profile, then family settings or something then change it from there. your parents probably set the privacy settings high when you first got your xbox
