Is it bad to dump a primary school boyfriend over Facebook?

I'm going into year 8, but he's going into year 7, and I want to dump him because we have been going out for a month and he hasn't even hugged me. LAME.
So because it is hardly even a relationship, can I dump him over Facebook? i can't dump him over the phone because the phone is my most hated way of communication.

It doesn't matter how you relationship is turning out good or bad. If you want to end it.. say it to his face in person. I think via the phone/text/facebook is the most rudest way to dump somebody and they'll never get over you. My ex dumped me via text and moved to manchester and I now have a fiance but I still feel for my ex in places. Dump him face to face or loose respect for the nice person you are.
