If you wish to change the child support order you need to revisit the issue in a court of law. You need documentation or proof of the arrangements. And you would need to go to court to change visitation. Those are separate issues.

Keeping a journal of pick up and drop off times and dates is a start. Hearsay is not admissible. So her friends and exes can tell you the sky is purple if they want, that means nothing in court. You would have to have physical proof that she is on drugs. As for the alcohol, if she is over 21, unless she is a raging alcoholic and you have proof, too bad. Adults are allowed to drink.

You have to prove someone unfit. You cannot just say that the bird down the street chirped the information in your ear. Suzy telling you that they saw Mary drunk or smoking dope or shooting up is called a rumor. And it is hearsay. You have to get actual proof.

If you know for certain that she is intoxicated and unable to care for your child then you call the police at that moment to have them remove the child. You do not wait.

If you know for sure that there are drugs in her home, then you call the police right then and there and report it. You do not wait.

Unless you have pictures of her beating your child or having sex in front of your child on facebook, facebook is irrelevant. In a court of law you cannot prove that a mug of beer is a mug of beer with a picture. Or how many beers a person has drank. Or that a rolled up cigarette like item is marijuana. Courts must have evidence that is verifiable.

If it were me, I would hire an attorney and pursue full custody if I were worried about my child. Worrying about what money she gives me would be the last thing on the list. Removing the child from a potentially dangerous situation would be number one. And judges can read through bs. Not saying you are bs'ing us, but when a judge hears dollar signs first then parenting issues last, he tends to discount the whole case. Because normally parents worry first about getting their children out of a harmful situation and lastly about the money.
