Can I have my ex arrested for accessing my facebook account and deleting my account?
my ex girlfriend had all my facebook and email passwords till we broke up. Then I changed them. Somehow she GUESSED my secret questions and got them right and changed them again! Then I could not get in and THEN she deleted my facebook and my email accounts! Now she denies it.

How were you harmed? No, you can't have her arrested. If she cleaned out your bank account, then you could, but cleaning out your facebook account isn't all that big a deal.

Facebook accounts can not be deleted. They are put in standby when you delete them.
You can log back in and activate it again. CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD after you do. |

Yes, you can 100% press charges. I'm not positive if she would be arrested, maybe just sued. But definitely look into pressing charges because hacking someone is illegal!

Yes, but you need proof it was her. Just a note:
Computer crime can be broadly defined as criminal activity involving information technology infrastructure, including illegal access (unauthorized access), illegal interception (by technical means of non-public transmissions of computer data to, from or within a computer system), data interference (unauthorized damaging, deletion, deterioration, alteration or suppression of computer data), systems interference (interfering with the functioning of a computer system by inputting, transmitting, damaging, deleting, deteriorating, altering or suppressing computer data), misuse of devices, forgery (or identity theft) and electronic fraud. ----WIKIPEDIA These charges carry very hefty federal sentences. If your serious about this, her ISP can give details over to the polce if they have a warrant. As long as she was using her own computer or w/e. I probably wouldn't go this far, but I would want justice served even if I would have to do it myself. To all the people that say you can't, they're wrong. It doesn't matter if it was facebook or some other website, its still illegal and a criminal act. |

Yes you certainly can . I had my husband log into a site I use. Plus he got into password protected emails. He photocopied it all. So I found them and copied..Showed my lawyer and he said I can have him arrested!
