Why is are boxing fans getting on Mayweather about sending his challenge via twitter?
Should it really matter since Mayweather is trying to give people the fight they wanted?
Today Twitter is the quickest way to get a message to spread across the world and Mayweather was trying to let his challenge be known.
Twitter or not Mayweather put his message out there, everyone understood, and Pacquiao is trying to fold.

Give me a link if Pacquiao has responded, don't tell me he has responded or didn't back down without any proof.

you can't sign a fight on twitter !!!! and further more it is a cowardice way to do things , he should have gone thought he correct channels . The only reason he did it , is to make Pacquiao look like he's scared , it was nothing more than a psychological move that has back fired .
Mayweather is a Great fighter , and doesn't need to play these silly games

Boxers are meant to use their promoters to arrange fights then go public once its a done deal. Mayweather basically goes on-line and makes a demand without going in to specifics. This shouldnt be done in the public eye.

If Mayweather was trying to give the people the fight they wanted he would be more open with his request for instance say "we should fight between these dates etc" and allow for some negotiation. instead he basically made a demand, he isnt thinking about the public, simply about himself and having his demands met.

It isn't boxing fans, its Pacquiao fans that are criticizing the way Mayweather called out Pac.

It does not matter what Mayweather do, Pacquiao fans will hate him.

Before they said he is scared. They said he is ducking Pac. But now that he Mayweather is letting the world know through Twitter that he is not scared and he is calling Pacquiao out, Pacquiao fans are criticizing him for using twitter.

Personally, I think it is a brillant move. Everything else happens on the internet today. People find spouses, jobs, and everything else online. So much has gone on over the years between the Mayweather and the Pacquiao camps. A lot has been said about the negotiations. We the fans are left at the mercy of the camps to know what happens in negotiations. I am convinced a lot has happened that we will never know about because we were not behind those doors. By placing the dialougue on the net, we the fans can see who really wants to fight and who is blocking it from occuring. As you said, since Floyd has done this it has appeared obvious that Arum is the one in the way. Floyd wants to fight.
