Why do celebrities respond to other celebrities tweets, but not fans tweets?

i heard that most celebrities dont respond to you on twitter, because they get so many, and they can't see yours. But, shouldnt that mean they cant see other celeb's tweets to them?

They probably know the other celebrities so will want to reply. I would like to be famous but wouldn't like the fans because you have to be nice to them(talk, take photos and take abuse). If I was one direction and had people tweeting every 5 seconds to follow them I wouldn't want to.

Because the fans mean nothing to them were just there to help the make millions and get nothing out of it.

Celebrities still talk to people randomly but it's rare. They only care to look for people with their degree of fame.

i think it's cuz they know other celebrities on a personal level.They also prob have their tweets sent to their phone when other celebrities tweet
some fans can be annoying and some will just spam them and just keep saying omg i love you your amazing
There are some that will reply to fans but it's kinda rare

They probably get contacted or sent a notification/tweet gets sent another way if another celebrity tweets them.

So-called "celebrities" are not interested in "fans", except for the money they can make out of them.
Why the fans don't realise this and forget the celebrity cult, I really don't know.
Real people are much more interesting!
