Facebook Hacking,How can I prevent it from happening to me?
My facebook is being hacked by my mum so she can view my messages. I obviously don't want her doing that because it invades my personal privacy. I have changed the password but somehow she is still hacking it.I am unsure of how she is doing this and if anyone knows how I can stop her from being able to view my facebook via hacking, that would save alot of trouble. PLEASE HELP!

In addition to changing your password, also change your secret question and answer responces for your password resets. Also change the password on your email that you use for your facebook account. If that doesnt work your mom might have installed a keylogger on the computer which records everything you type..... but there is a way around that. Somewhere on the net there is a program that makes a virtual keyboard that cant be logged like a normal hardwired keyboard. If you need more help feel free to email me from my yahoo answers profile.

You need to sign out every session. Don't just close the window but sign out.

Sign out after every session, changed password, change security question, also make a new email account and get all facebook emails sent to that as if your mum has access to your emails, everytime you change your password it sends a link stating you have changed it and gives the option to change it or keep it as is!
But I would ask your mum straight out why the hell she is going it then slap her down some!! ok maybe not slap her, but really, talk about being incontrol of your kid!!

Perhaps your mom isn't really hacking into your Facebook account. Maybe she's just able to search for you through your friends or through the photos or videos that you have been tagged in.

One way to avoid this is to remove yourself from Facebook search results. To do this, proceed to your account's "Search Privacy Settings" page, and click on the "Edit Settings" link. You will need to key in your password for this, after which you will need to go to the "Facebook Search Results"and tick on the "Friends Only" choice.

To ensure no other unauthorized users get to see you through photographs or videos you've been tagged in, proceed to the "Profile Privacy Settings" and head over to the section labeled "Photos and Videos of Me." Click on the dropdown arrow and from the menu that pops up, select "Custom" and then "Only Me."

I think your mum is finding your password by phishing.Only log in to your Facebook account by using direct link.(Type http://www.facebook.com in your address bar and log in).using another browser. Then change your password. In facebook we can only change security question 1 time.If your mother knows your security answer you cant do nothing.Only you can delete that account and create a new one....Hope this helps...!

Just "Sign Out" of Facebook every time you are finished using the site. That way nobody else can interfere with your profile and it's information without your permission. Good Luck!

Log in. Go into "Account settings", from there, have a browse. You can change the settings so that every time anybody logs in, they have to name the computer and that, plus the time the account was accessed is logged.
