Is it ok to start talking to someone over facebook and go out with them?
I'm 16 and a Junior in High School and he's 18 and a senior in the high school across town. We just started talking on facebook kind of randomly and exchanged number. We've been texting quite a bit and he's really nice, we're planning on going mini golfing Friday. We have tons of mutual friends on fb, my friends "know" him but aren't friends with him, I know some of his friends like the girl he went to homecoming with.
You think everything will be okay?

Considering this is your first time meeting him, I'd suggest bringing a close friend of yours along. You never know what this boy could be like.
