How to hide your phone number on facebook?

I get on facebook it saves my phone number and people steels it how can i hide it?

Go edit your profile and erase it - or put in a bogus phone number

You can also change your privacy settings so nobody can see it

I don't know what phone you have. But if you to the web browser and go to the Facebook that isnt the touch version (if you have a touch phone) well there you can go to your profile and it should say "remove phone numberk" click it! Hoped I helped! Good luck!

Go to your profile, click on info, scroll down to contact information, click edit and delete your number.

Go to Account > Privacy Settings > Customize Settings > scroll down to contact information > click the button beside mobile phone and select customize then select "Only me" from the drop down menu ^^

go to privacy settings, click customize settings. Under contact information section there is a section to change who can see your phone number.

Here's how to hide it from everyone. Even your friends :


Navigate to the Account drop down menu. Select Privacy Settings.

Click on Customize Settings.

Scroll down to Contact Information. There you'll see Mobile phone and Other phone. Click on the drop down and select Customize.

In the Customize Privacy pop up, click on the These People Drop Down. Select Only Me. You'll have to do this for Mobile and Other Phone.

Now your phone numbers are once again, secret. Unless you're in the phone book.
