How can i raise sponsor money? any good ideas?
I am doing a 8.5 mile run for Sea shepherd to help the marine mammals - it is a cause i feel very strong about and want to raise as much money as possible. I have posted a link and made a group on my facebook, how else could i raise money?

Here is the link for further information:

Sounds like your on the right track with Facebook and other websites like that. Maybe ask your family members or their employers - ask your city council members or local animal shelter. Favorite places that you eat, schools or sport teams in your area. You can always hit up the senior citizens or military personal. Get the word out and ask anyone ... !

Good Luck !!

Raffle tickets usually raise a lot of money. We always kind of base what we give away on what people's interests are in that area. For example, in our state we have 2 rival college basketball teams and everyone has their favorite, so we will make 1 "basket" for each team filled with memorabilia and sell raffle tickets for each basket. We sale most of our tickets to friends, relatives and we always hit all of the sports bars and take the baskets so people can see what they are trying to win. At $1 or $2 each most people will buy at least one if not $5 - $10 each person. You can think of what a lot of people in your area are interested in and think of a creative basket to raffle off. You should make a lot doing this. We find a lot of things really cheap for our baskets and it always goes for a good cause.... Good Luck!!!!!!
