How are people on Facebook ordered in the facebook search engine?
In my Facebook search engine the way people are listed will change. I will type a g for instance and all the people whose names that start with G will come up. Sometimes a certain person will be at the bottom, but then the next time I type the letter in the same person will be at the top, even if I didn't view their profile. Does this have to do with them viewing my profile?

I think it's based off of their relevance to you.
If you type John Smith in, you will most likely be given the John Smith that lives close to you, has similar friends as you, etc. I also think it has something to do with how often you search for them. |

It has to do with YOU viewing their profile.

It is related to whether you ever communicated with that person, have common friends, etc. The actual algorithm is complex.
You may also want to try new Facebook app People Search http://apps.facebook.com/people_search |
