Not receiving texts when I turn internet off on Vodafone Blackberry 9320...?

Hello,

I've had my Curve 9320 on Vodafone just under a month now and when I first checked how much internet usage I use I was quite shocked - on my old BB I would normally use 1-2mb a MONTH (I was on o2) doing all the same things I do on this BB (Facebook, Twitter, Email) but now on this new BB I'm nearly up to the 200mb mark.

So I turned the internet off during the night when I won't need to use it thinking I would save some MB but it seems that I don't receive any texts when my internet is turned off (i'm not sure about calls) and my texts only come through when I turn the internet back on.

Is this supposed to happen?

Any help would be great.

Hi Chantal,

That's extremely odd.

The only reason I can think of for this would be if you are accidentally turning off the mobile connection instead of the data one.
