What to do if my mom doesnt want me to have a facebook?

my mom isnt letting me get a facebook but my bro has one and he got his when he was a year older than my age now. what should i do? should i just get one without telling her?

Ask her why she does not want you to have the account. She is your mother, she knows you very well. You might be surprised what you find out about yourself from her answer...and I doubt that she is just being a kill joy..
