Should I use Twitter or just stick with Facebook?
I have been using facebook for a couple years now and some of my friends are branching out to twitter. I've heard about it, but is it as good or worth doing as facebook?

Keep your Facebook and get a Twitter. Plenty of people have both.

I've used Facebook since high school and some of my friends on there started using twitter but not a lot. I find it interesting to follow but don't use it my self.

Just go with both. Twitter is simpler than Facebook though.

how about both?
twitter is more fun with tags and all...
and Facebook is more accessible, organized, and everything is in one site
(chat, messages, apps, newsfeed, calendar,...)

Twitter and Facebook are quite different social channels.

It's really hard to give some general advice, because social media is the case when one approach doesn't fit it all.

I personally use both, not to mention Google+ and Linkedin, and here are the peculiarities that I would like to summarize for you.

Facebook:
- Brings far more targeted traffic
- Perfect for B2C communication. These days customers would post their complaints and positive testimonials directly on your Facebook wall. That's an excellent chance to showcase the way your company does customer support and build a following of loyal customers.
- Great for contest announcement and creating all other sorts of marketing hype.

Twitter:
- Good for B2B communication, especially if we're talking about small business or blogging. You can find all kind of partnership opportunities this way, e.g great link building, guest posting opportunities.
- Twitter nature is less open than that of Facebook. On the one hand, it means there're more bots and low-quality accounts. On the other hand, you can attract customers that hide under a nickname and thus communicate more openly with you.
- Twitter search is the source of inspiration about you industry. You follow someone, then get to know who they follow, and finally dig out accounts/websites you wouldn't have found through organic search. You get ideas about what people do, who people follow and why, what keywords/ideas in your niche are really in demand.

As you can see, both Facebook and Twitter have their own benefits. You should try both to see what works better in your case.
