I think that the child support is based upon his income so marriage shouldn't affect that at all.

No. If the court order was already made before you marry then it should stay the same.

Your income should not have bearing on his payments. It's not his income. But you could consult an attorney in the state that oversees the child support.

No,,,just do NOT co-mingle your monies with his and always file separate income tax returns...it's a pain but worth the protection of YOUR assets, paycheck, savings, and refunds from the IRS.
