How does facebook choose the friends displayed on your page?
how does facebook choose the friends that are displayed on the random 6 on your page? everytime i go on my boyfriends page i notice that his ex is almost always there but with different people each time.. i know he didn't set her because sometimes she isn't. is it completely randomly chosen or by whos page you look at? i tried to mess around with it on mine but no luck..

It is completely random and we have no control over who is that box.

its all about mutual friends
facebook looks at your friends and that other person's friends and calculates how likely you are to know each other by knowing how many mutual friends you have. but it doesn't stop there. facebook also looks at mutual friends of your friends and the more friends you have with that person as a friend, the more likely it is to display their profile sumtin like that |
