Twitter Problems Help!!!?

Ok so this started yesterday. When i get on twitter it is the normal homepage and when i click home to refresh I lose 2 followers. Then I add 2 followers. It keeps varrying and then i click on my followers and they are all still the same! And when i press the connect with my notifications it usually says "so and so followes you" but this time it doesnt and my follower count doesnt go up!!! Help please~
