Is my ex best friend stalking me on twitter?
We had a fallout 5 months ago and she wrote mean things about me on twitter and her blog. Recently however for the past three weeks, she hasn't been aiming her tweets at me. But yesterday I tweeted something about 'ginger'. Today she tweeted about eating 'ginger nuts'. Is she trying to let me know that she's watching me on twitter in an indirect way?

Maybe she's starting to feel guilty for saying the mean things about you. One way she knows to contact you with is Twitter. So I guess when she saw the "ginger" comment you wrote, she probably wanted to say something about "ginger" to get you to notice her again.
