Privacy question? can anyone find out if YOU asked a question on yahoo A's?

let say a name or phone number or whatever. I have my account set to private so, if someone found and embarrassing question and wanted to findout who asked it could they find out?

what is the privacy like a Y A's
i dont care if yahoo knows i just dont want friends to find a few things
interesting!

There is NO privacy on the internet. Yes, people can find out. If you keep your IM open, for example, they can most likely google your email address and find you here that way. If you have set your updates to "share", they can find you through their own email or through your messenger status. If you are linked to facebook or twitter, they can find you that way. They may even find you simply by googling your real name; you should TRY that and see what happens.

Even more scarey? Other sites 'harvest' the questions and answers here on YA - and not all of them protect our privacy when they do so. So your q&a can end up on OTHER sites you've never even heard of - and using your real name and/or email address.

If one of your friends is computer/internet whiz,he can know anything about you.Now,I only know you as"jesus".So,I dont really know exactly who you are and where you are now.....................

If you put in any specific details such as link to your pictures,your cellphone number and facebook account,surely people will know who you are especially those who are near to you.You cant blame Yahoo!Answer for that.............
