How would you go about finding your father?

basically my father has been out of my life since i was 5 and lately hes been making inquiries about me to family friends... when he sees them and i was wondering how to find him without the help of my family freinds because they won't tell me anything until Im 18 and i cant wait a whole year

Facebook, is helpful but if your father is not listed

Try and get one of your family friends phone- then it will probably list your dads number- quickly copy it down with out notice, then with his numbert the rest is yours...
