How much Alimony can be taken out of a persons pay each week In Connecticut?
I know someone who came home with a Bi-Monthly Pay Check for $ 1.00 after Federal, State Taxes, Social Security an Alimony Wage Garnishment.
At that rate the Alimony payer will be dead from Starvation or worse.
What is going through Law makers twisted minds anyway how can a person live on a $ 1.00 every two weeks .

There are no specific statutes on limiting how much alimony can be taken, like there is for child support, but there are federal limits on all types of garnishments to no more than 55% of gross when you have no other dependents.

For 22 years, I have volunteered my time working with divorced/single fathers dealing in family law issues, such as child support, teaching them about what the states are not telling support obligors.
