im really good friends with this one girl and she's really awesome but on facebook you would think that she isn't because every single post on her wall at least has something to do with her kids. Do u get annoyed people when mothered women do that? i used to not annoy me but now it does. it's like come on, something about yourself? something funny?

For first-time moms especially the kid becomes part of their identity

Nope because none of my friends on there have kids. I don't go on much anymore so I don't see their status.

That's not annoying.
Let them have pride in their kids.

No, I'm free to read or not read it. So are you.

I guess I have to wonder why you care what she posts? Children are a big matter with moms, especially if they're full-time moms. They take a lot of time and energy, and their steps matter to you. If you don't want to read her posts, you don't have to. You can hide her posts without removing her from your list of friends. It seems to me if she is indeed your friend, then you'd care at least somewhat about what she cares about, and at the moment, that apparently is her children. If you want to know what else is going on in her life, ASK her - Facebook works in both directions, ya know.
