How big of a role could we be playing here in Mayweather's comments about his kids during his conference?
Floyd Mayweather has already said in his press conference that his kids be on line looking up all the bad things people have to say about their father, and Yahoo is one of the biggest search engines in the world, and may even have an anonymous account among us, what do you think?

If he's really concerned about his kids, he shouldn't have brought them in that press conference in the first place. He's telling us not to talk negative about him because his kids might read them etc. But he's not worried when he hits their mother, take away their cellphones and threaten them. Boxing is a brutal sport patronized mostly by blood hungry fans. And he created a "bad boy persona" for himself. Had he projected a good guy reputation or image, he wouldn't be worrying about his kids hearing smack about him.
@Sean G
Sight seeing in a press conference? No testimonies are given in court yet because Floyd Jr. is delaying/postponing all court proceedings/hearings on his cases. But his children's testimonies were included in the formal complaint filed against him. That's why an arrest warrant was issued some time ago and he posted bail. And here's your link saying that a police report saying, "Mayweather's son told police that Mayweather also took phones from him and his brother."

I dont really think we make one bit of difference unfortunately. If we did then Floyd would have cleaned up his act sooner. "Money" Mayweather is aware people talk all sorts of smack about him on the internet but I dont think he cares,his name is "money" as that is all he cares about.

I would love to think of YA posters as a voice of change but I dont think it very realistic.

@ Sean,grandpa Floyd says stuff much worse than most people on this website.If Floyd wants to protect his kids from whatever then he should never let them be around their foul mouthed cocaine smuggling grandpa for one thing. I notice you think its wrong that people say stuff about Floyd on-line because people have accused him of violent acts and we dont know if its true. Have you noticed people talk smack about Pacquiao on-line saying he uses steroids and the reason for this is the Mayweather family? Why doesnt Floyd complain about that also? Double standards

I totally think that Yahoo and Facebook boxing comments may have a lot to do with what Floyd said. People here and on other boxing sites make wreckless comments that are racist, homophobic and distastful about Mayweather...and some of these people were the most offended by the Pacquiao internet rant. Brother Love believes everything he reads. Bringing his kids to New York City was probably for more than a press conference, but also a trip to show them the city (which is amazing to show your kidsas a tourist). None of us were present to see this domestic violence, just like we weren't present to see Mike Tyson hit Robin Givens (a story I never believed). Sometime people want a peice of a rich athlete...that's why there are courts, judges, juries, lawyers, and witnesses. Speaking of witnesses...I know some will say Floyd's children are witnesses...did any of you hear them give testimony against Floyd? I haven't. Would love a link. It may not be this particular forum or site, but is the same statements, attitudes, and bias that Floyd was speaking of.

I wouldn't break out the fanfare yet...I guess any of this could be true.Its good to check the pulse of your friends or foe.Mayweather is methodical in all he does.I don't think its a good idea to underestimate the man.And if he wants to bring his kids...that's his business.
