i found it essential for about a year. but the novelty has worn off.

Props to those who don't give in to having a facebook. I want to delete mine, the only reason I DO keep it is because my family likes to keep in touch through it with photos etc...sad huh? And god help your friends actually CALL you to make plans...

I wish I can deactivate my fb account, but I want to keep up-to-date to everything and I dont want to be left out, but of course I do not look down to those who dont have one

It is not necessary for survival but is certainly a joy to participate in.
