I don't know what to tweet about on Twitter ?

So I'm kinda new on Twitter so far I only have 8 followers. And well I don't really know what I can tweet about. I'm on facebook everyday but twitter is just alittle different than FB. So what are some things I can tweet about? What do you tweet about?

Don't tweet anything personal, i.e Parties, What you're having for tea etc. People on twitter don't really care about that as they cannot relate to it.

Try to tweet things that are funny and relatable, this will boost how often you get retweeted, retweets are a great way to gain followers as it spreads your account about like a shoutout.

Another main thing is to be on track of current affairs. There is no use tweeting about something in the media if it happened last week, you have to be on the ball and tweet about things that are currently happening, like football results or a celebrity scandal.

Finally, at the side of your homepage there are 'Trending Topics' these are a list of the hottest topic of that moment. Some of them are #hashtags which are usually games to play, like replacing movie titles with a different word. Some of them are just phrases that have been tweeted a lot, this is commonly related to either football or celebrities. By clicking these and reading the tweets you will have a good idea of what to write about and what current things are happening.
