Contact Child Support Services and ask what papers you need to file. Since your hours are cut you should have time to go and pick them up. You need to submit the request to family court since only a judge can change the order.

Hi there -

You should contact the Monroe County Friend of the Court ("FOC"). One of the main functions of the FOC is to enforce Child Support orders, so it would be a good place to ask about a review. If you already have a child support order, you are eligible for a review every 36 months under MI law (MCL 552.517). To get the review, put your request in writing and address it to the FOC.

The FOC for Monroe County, MI is:

S. Joseph Hudson III
106 E First St
Monroe, MI 48162
Phone (734) 240-7180
Fax (734) 240-7221

BTW, I found this info through http://www.courtreference.com. It's an awesome resource for all kinds of trial court issues throughout the US!

go to child support enforcement and make an official request to modify the order. They are required to help either parent upon request, by federal law.

You also associate with other fathers going through, and have already gone through, the same issues. We have an Educational Manual that teaches everything that needs to be known in addressing your legal issues. Mention your question here when asked why you want to join, as well as your state?

For 22 years, I have volunteered my time working with divorced/single fathers dealing in family law issues, such as child support, teaching them about what the states are not telling support obligors.
