If my girlfriend changed her facebook status, would my status not link to her page?

My girlfriend and I are on a "break" and her relationship status is hidden, but on my page it still says "is in a relationship with ********, and it links to her page. If she changed hers to single would mine automatically go to single too? or would it still say in a relations ship, just with no name and just not link to her?

It would simply say "in a relationship" but she hasn't broken it so congrats.
