Is This A Healthy Way For Someone To Grieve?
My best friend lost her sister a few months ago. They were very close so it hit her very hard. She's struggling to come to terms with it and she writes long messages on her dead sister's facebook wall about 2 or 3 times a day (some days more). Is this normal/ok? Its getting a bit excessive. Should I say something to her about it? If so, how? Or should I just let her mourn in her own way?

well it dosnt sound healthy though i believe it is very important to let someone grieve in there own way because no matter what happens to anyone no one knows how she is going through this no one knows how hard it is for her because every one is different and people enterpret things very differently. the most important thing is support and time

People mourn in a variety of ways. It's probably healthier that she has an outlet for her emotions, instead of bottling them up inside. I would suggest to her that she see a therapist, to help her find the best ways to work through her loss.

It doesn't sound healthy to me..I too lost my sister in recent months and was stunned and heartbroken when i saw her face looking back at me on Facebook so i had to remove her..We all deal with grief in different ways but i had help from a Samaritan who had befriended me a few years earlier when my husband died..She was a great help and source of comfort..If you can persuade your friend to give them a call that may be a help to her..08457 90 90 90
