In facebook, how could I close or end a friendship without everybody else finding out?
I want to end a facebook friendship without people to know, except for this person. Blocking a persons comments could also help.

just block them from your feed the next time they post simply click and block them it isn't that hard to do. if all else fails bite the bullet and remove them from your friends list or block them completely,
