Does Facebook create resentment and animosity among friends and other relationships?

Based on your personal experience. I just deleted my account because it's too easy for the tone and context in what you are saying to be misinterpreted on Facebook. Too many dimensions of personality; otherwise unknown, seem to surface on the social network. Too many prying eyes.

Yes! I lost my so called "bestfriend", 3 of my "close friends" of 9 years, my dads side of the family, my best guy friend. Practically everyone I cared for all because of stupid fucking rumours.

But I can't quite bring myself to delete my account :/
