Should a man be able to set limitations for his girlfriend?
For example stopping them from talking to certain men, for reasons of their own. Yet they're allowed to talk to their ex (via facebook), when they invite their girlfriend round.
Your honest opinion.

Relationships are about give and take but im afraid your bf is taking this too an extreme, both partners should be able to talk freely to anyone with the slight (and understandable) exception of ex's.

In my opinion he clearly feels insecure maybe you should talk to him about it as he is displaying 'double standard' by restricting who you see yet talking to his ex!!!

Hope you get it sorted.

no they shouldn't tell us who we can talk or can't talk to, if he's trying to set limitations on you then do it to him, don't let him run you x

That is a sign of trouble. If he is setting certain kinds of limits like talking to certain men, he is likely to become abusive. Another heads up: since there is social pressure to have sex before marriage, if one has sex before getting married, it causes jealousy in later relationships. You will be wise not to have sex with him if you haven't yet; if you have already, it would be wise to stop now. The same thing applies to future boyfriends: do not have sex. Wait until you're married. If you are a virgin, good for you! Sexual intercourse creates a bond between souls. The sad thing is that not too many people know this until it's too late. It sounds like your boyfriend has already played the field before he asked you out; he is showing symptoms caused by having sex before marriage.
