I had a picture of me and my best friend for ages... then the other night i uploaded a pic of me and my boyfriend... then me and my best friend had a new one and i think it looks like a nicer profile picture...

He phoned me and had a go at me.. Girls, what would you doo?
am i in the wrong?
or is he?

or you could tell him the story about why you changed it..

He's in the wrong. It's YOUR bloody facebook! To me, he doesn't seem like a very nice guy. I mean, just because you changed your profile picture doesn't mean you love him any less! Tell him he's being a jerk!

Ok, Im not a girl, but I saw this and had to respond. You don't have to choose my answer as best if you don't want to, since I am not a girl and you asked "girls". Anyway, dump him. That is such a stupid thing to freak out about, imagine if it was something worse than that, like someone tried to kiss you and you told him. Would he have another go at you? Only this time it is worse!! I say get rid of him, you are better than that.

he knows you are in a relationship and if hes insecure enough to be jealous that your best friend is in your picture and not him i think you need to have a talk with him, or find someone whos worth your attention.

Its just him being immature and jealous. Take no notice of him. Its your facebook to do as you please. He seems to see it as a statement about the value of the relationship. He's being totally out of order, and pathetically insecure. But you both sound quite young. I would just simply tell him its your facebook, full stop. Refuse to discuss it or get drawn into an argument about it. He's got no choice but to grow up and get over it.
