How close is too close for my best friend and boyfriend to be?
I've been dating my boyfriend for a while now and we're both in love. When we first started dating, she flirted with him a little and he instantly called her on it, saying that he was in love with me. Recently, she's been trying to talk to him. I've been getting insanely jealous just when she posts stuff to his facebook wall, even though he doesn't even answer back. Am I just being paranoid?

I'd say territorial, but not paranoid

If he isn't responding to her attempts, I don't think you have much to worry about. There are certain girls who will hit on guys who are "taken." It's happened to me. A good guy won't be fooled by it.

I mean your boyfriend seems like nobody to worry about. Just call your friend on it.

This is a test that a lot of people have to go through - men and women. If you are truly in love with each other and you're in a long-term, trusting relationship then you should have nothing to worry about. Let her flirt, let her post things to his FB wall. Her problem is that she is jealous of the attention you are getting, a lot of girls behave this way.

No i dont think your being paranoid. Some girls are just like that. I have a couple of girlfriends that are like that. They are really insecure though, and do it because they want to be the center of attention and prove that they are cuter/sexier/funnier or whatever-er than you. But i wouldnt worry too much bout it. sounds like you got a good guy. =)

He called her on it? Hahaha thats great. This guy is a keeper! I love guys like that. So no I dont think you have anything to worry about. But you say she's your "best friend" I dont know about that. If she was a good friend she wouldnt have done that to begin with. Good friends dont flirt with your bf's/gf's so yeah. You might wanna confront her about that. Because that shit aint cool. Ya feel me?
But some friends are ok to have around your significant other and let them be close to them well the both of you actually thats very important. But she doesnt sound like the type of friend that would be ok to let in like that.

I do not think that you are being paranoid! I think she is being disrespectful to you totally, and I think you should be women enough to tell her.If you feel uncomfortable with the flirting and you claim she is your best friend. In case you do not know, a best friend does not continue to do sneaky things such as talking to him on fb. I think she is jealous of your relationship. Where is her man? you should also speak to your man about this. I can not understand why you have not dealt with the both of them about this issue. If she and he have a problem with it I would kick both of them to the curb. You should not be disrespected by your best friend and your man at the same time. If you do speak up soon! You maybe sorry. Good luck!
